Chitta is consciousness in mind, which is part of subtle body. Chidakasha is the sky of consciousness. It is the omniscient and omnipotent consciousness in which in which all gross and subtle activities of the consciousness take place. This is a familiar concept of the Upanishads. It is not the physical consciousness but the Pure Consciousness (Chitta), an all-pervading continuum.
